Myra McFadden developed an enduring love for fiber art many years ago when she worked with individuals in a mental health facility.  After learning to create circular weavings, she taught patients to do the same by using their hands to design art that brought forward healing and beauty from themselves.

Today, Myra, who is of Japanese and Ojibway descent, creates fiber art that expresses the beauty of nature as well as teachings from her heritage. Her art utilizes weaving and macrame techniques that soothe the spirit and lift the soul.
